Expressions of Interest for the Powering Communities Program are now open for submission.
The Powering Communities Program provides funding for small projects that aim to assist community organisations improve their energy efficiency practices and lower their energy bills. Grants between $5,000 - $12,000 are available to eligible not-for-profit community organisations. If you have received funding under any of the 5 streams of the Energy Efficient Communities Program, you will not be able to apply for this grant program.
The PCP have a strict criterion on what grant funds can and cannot be used for, with Section 5 of the grant guidelines detailing the eligible and ineligible activities for grant funds. A consultation committee of community representatives will be established to evaluate and make recommendations on all EOIs.

All EOI forms should be submitted by 5:00pm on 28 May 2021.
It is important to note that completing an EOI or a subsequent nomination for a project does not guarantee that an application will be successful. Applications for grants will be assessed and a final decision will be made by the relevant Federal Government department.
