Chris Hayes MP, Member for Fowler today issued a reminder to people living in Fowler to get on the electoral roll or update their details.

"There is just one week left to get your name on the roll to make sure you can have your say in our future," Mr Hayes said.

"Enrolment closes on August 12 so time is running out.

"It’s so easy to update your details or enrol.

"Now you can even do it online by visiting and following the links.

"Enrolling to vote means you can have your say on the future of our local schools, local jobs and local infrastructure like roads."

"If you don’t enrol or your details aren’t up to date you’ll miss out and face a fine."

Chris Hayes said there was never a more at stake for South West Sydney than at this election.

"The future direction of our local economy, local services and our community will be determined at this election," Mr Hayes said.

"There are big challenges facing us in the future and it’s up to you to decide who you trust to manage those challenges."

"Local services and our local economy depend on you having your say – so get on the roll and make sure you can cast your vote on September 7."
