Volunteers Recognised - Fowler Community Service Awards

April 18, 2019

Providing free plumbing services to the elderly, assisting youth sporting clubs, human rights issues are just some of the achievements that were recognised at Fowler MP, Chris Hayes’ Community Service Awards ceremony held on Wednesday 17 April 2019.

Across the local area, 150 people were recognised at the awards ceremony.

“Everyone has a different story to tell, coming from all walks of life in a very diverse and multicultural community.”

“In addition to their own busy schedules and family lives, these people have all decided to go that extra mile by contributing selflessly with their knowledge, skills and time to assist others in improving their lives.”

“They do not ask for accolades, they give their time generously without any expectation of reward.”

“On behalf of a grateful community, thank you for your generosity, your passion, your kindness and good will,” Chris Hayes said.
